Could your client’s mental health issues be down to toxicity? Have you ever considered if that could be why some clients just can’t seem to get better?
We live in a toxic world – and so do your clients. Every day, they are exposed to hundreds of environmental pollutants and chemicals. These substances are neurotoxic, and could be affecting their mental health – and scuppering their progress in therapy.
We all know about how toxins are affecting our planet. But do we understand how they affect us? It’s something all therapists should have on their radar now, as studies show that man-made chemicals are wreaking havoc on our mental and physical wellbeing. You will undoubtedly be seeing clients in your clinics who are being affected, and most will be unaware.
Join us on this fascinating deep-dive into what toxins we are exposed to, the impact that these have on our mental health, and how as therapists we can reduce their impact.
On the Workshop you will learn:
• What are toxins
• Where do they come from, and how are we being exposed?
• How do they affect our physical and mental health – what is the evidence that these substances are a problem
• What are the possible symptoms of toxin exposure? How might you see that in your clients?
• How can we reduce our exposure to potentially toxic substances
• How can we support our bodies to detox
• Who you can refer to if you suspect toxicity might be a factor for your clients.
