Barry’s story:
For the past 35 years I have run a Personal Development Book company that has sold over 1 million life changing books.
All my adult life I have been a seeker of what can both help me and other people in terms of personal development books and workshops.
And during the Pandemic I realised how many people were really struggling and how most of them just didn’t feel heard, or listened to, and so I began a three-year journey to become a better listener myself.
Firstly, I became a Samaritan listener, which then morphed into becoming a Samaritan mentor [someone who trains new Samaritans to listen].
Secondly, I started to train in Deep Listening attending multiple workshops which have helped me to deepen my own understanding of what it takes to be a great listener.
Thirdly, I created an experiential workshop to allow others to learn how to become better listeners, which will allow them to connect deeply with anyone.
