Learn evidence-based breathwork techniques that can be seamlessly integrated into your therapeutic practice to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges.
Breath is the ONLY system in the body that we have conscious control over; it feeds into every organ and system. Subsequently, there isn’t a part of the body that isn’t impacted by poor breathing. Even slight dysfunctions in breathing can impact your physical and mental health. A person can be physically active, eat exceptionally, and sleep well, but if they are not breathing well, they will never be truly healthy.
Once we know how we should be breathing, it’s easier to identify issues we are experiencing and how to improve. Fundamentally, everyone has the power to improve their breathwork. Harnessing the power of your breath will be empowering for both you and everyone you share this knowledge with.
This course teaches you the foundations of breathwork and how to identify and correct issues in yourself and others, giving you the confidence to integrate breathwork into your current practice.
The workshop will cover:
-
Breath awareness
-
A basic introduction to the respiratory system
-

-
Evolutionary issues with breath
-
Nose breathing versus mouth breathing
-
How to identify issues with breathing
-
